The conference will be held at the Nara Prefecural New Public Hall, Nara, Japan from September 9 to 12, 2008. Nara is located in the central
part of the main island of Japan. It was the first permanent capital of
Japan in the 8th century, and the cradle of Japanese culture, arts and
crafts. Several temples and shrines in Nara are listed as World Heritage
sites. Nara Prefectural New Public Hall is located in Nara Park, and has a tiled
roof that is the biggest one in Japan, and a beautiful Japanese garden.
